Some Random Photos…

Well I’ve been having some issues with Microsoft Word and can’t copy and paste pages right now and because of that here are some photos of bath products I’ve been working on. I’m trying to take better care of my skin and body, so I’ve made some bath fizzies with almond oil and I can say my skin has never been softer!! I’m in love as cheesy as that sounds! Anyway, photos!

RhageBathBomb1 RhevBathBombs1Both of these fizzies are inspired by characters from the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The top one is Rhage. Light blue and darker blue for the cover of the book and scented in Bite Me (s scent that smells like Coke and Dr. Pepper) and lemon (Mary’s scent). The second one is Rehvenge, dark purple and smells like vanilla raspberry, yum!

Black Dagger Brotherhood Inspired Makeup- Butch Redo

*cricket* Hey I guess I’m not dead! Yay! Anyway so as I was thinking of Twilight themed makeup I could be doing I was really at a loss. I couldn’t think of enough looks to really recreate more than one thing so I kind of stopped doing anything. I was really upset that I hadn’t been creating anything and so I took some time to go through some of my past looks and I really didn’t like my brows when I did most of the Black Dagger Brotherhood looks so I redid some of them. First up is Butch. His book is Lover Revealed and it’s the fourth in the series. Butch is a human cop but his aggression and attitude didn’t really help him fit in with the rest of the human world. After some prophecies, and plot progression we find out that Butch is related to Wrath, the Blind King, so in turn they perform a ritual that helps Butch’s vampire blood come out and so on. In the end he becomes a vampire, yay! Yeah it’s kind of complicated since they don’t ‘turn’ people into vampires, like in other stories.

The cover of his book is bright orange (really?!) And the accent is white. So when I redid this one I wanted to be more daring so I tired a cut crease and I really like it. I’m actually very proud of this one 🙂 and since I’m re-reading his book I’m kind of liking him more. Anyway, onto the makeup!

Black Dagger Brotherhood Inspired Makeup-Qhuinn

Having imperfections is a part of life, we all have them. However for the glymera, it’s not only frowned upon it’s a down right crime. This is the reality that Qhuinn has had to live with his entire life. Why you ask? It’s because he has mismatched eyes. He has had one hard life and he can really only rely on his two best friends, John Matthew and Blaylock. However fate kinda has other plans for him when he (finally) figures out he really only loves his best friend Blay. Lover at Last is his story so I can only imagine what will happen but since the book comes out in March of 2013 I have some time to kill before then ;).

I have to admit, I’ve been rooting for Qhuinn from the beginning and I really want his character to be happy. I don’t have the best memory so I trusted that the temp cover would be correct…well it wasn’t. I have the eye colors as left being green and right being blue with the red ‘tattoo’ under the left eye (which was correct) which is what is on the cover, but they are wrong. *gasp* I know! Horrible fan I am, so I apologize for it and do plan on redoing this look along with Rehv. So hopefully you can look past that and enjoy! So I just read on goodreads that JR Ward said the cover is not wrong, but the original description of Qhuinn was from John’s POV so I guess I had it right, but the tattoo might be wrong then…

Black Dagger Brotherhood Inspired Makeup-Tohrment

I’m actually done…wow I can’t believe it! I started these before I even had this blog and now I’m totally done with the series! Tohr’s book hasn’t come out yet. It’s not set to release until late March, 27th I think. The main premise is in one of the earlier books his shellen (wife) is murdered and he kinda goes awal. He leaves the other brothers for some time and doesn’t come back until he is brought to the Brother’s by a fallen angel (told you, it’s complicated ) So far we know his book is about finding new love. With his wife passed into the fade can he find new happiness while he is alive? I don’t know and the suspense is tremendous! Well I’m actually waiting for more news on some other characters but that’s a whole other post, lol. Onto the look!

The makeup used in each look will pretty much be the same, since I really only have the palettes from BH Cosmetics. But I will try and list everything used for each brother. Again please excuse the eyebrows :).I will take pictures of these palettes some day I promise!

Black Dagger Brotherhood Inspired Makeup-Payne

Payne is the twin sister of Vishous. She was kept by their mother, the Scribe Virgin, so she never really got to do anything while her brother was with their father being trained on how to fight. That doesn’t mean she’s weak though. She has watched her brother fight along with the Brotherhood and wants to fight as well. During her practice fights with Wrath, the Blind King, something goes terribly wrong and they have to find help with a human doctor. Her story is told in Lover Unleashed and is mainly about her healing process and how she finally gets to get into the field. Her cover mimics Vishous’s and is a bright teal blue. When I did the original version it was almost the exact same as Vishous’s (minus the tattoos) after looking at it for some time I really do like this one better. Enjoy!
